Named after a ‘place of refuge’ in Sanskrit, Ayana enjoys majestic ocean views along its 1.3 km coastline on cliffs above majestic Jimbaran Bay, just 12 km from Bali’s airport. I had the chance to enjoy the resort during my last trip to Bali. Secluded from the bustle of the city, I enjoyed unrivaled sanctuary from the resort’s location within the 90-hectare Karang Mas Estate, which is also home to Rimba, a 403-room resort, The Villas by Ayana Resort, and Ayana Residences, Bali’s first purely residential community integrated with a five-star resort.
Ayana’s majestic sunsets and ocean-front views are complemented by a white-sand beach and shared facilities as Bali’s only integrated resort with Rimba Jimbaran Bali. With full access to all dining and recreation at both Ayana and Rimba as well as complimentary resort shuttle, I enjoyed the most extensive on-site facilities of any resort in Bali. There are 19 restaurants and bars including the iconic Rock Bar, exclusive private beach and beach club, 12 swimming pools, a world-class spa with Aquatonic Seawater Therapy Pool and Spa on the Rocks treatment villas and more.

Stay Young and Beautiful
Established in 1860 to promote and convey the beauty of Japanese culture and the splendor of Japanese tea, tea connoisseurs will have an opportunity to savor Tsujiri’s iconic Japanese green tea in many innovative hot and cold drinks, as well as desserts, at Ayana’s Damar Terrace restaurant. Founded in Kyoto by Riemon Tsuji, Tsujiri’s high-quality Gyokuro tea leaves and creative storage techniques result in vitamin-rich tea that is believed to promote anti-aging. Brimming with antioxidants and Vitamins A, C, E, and Beta Carotene, as well as Catechin, which plays a role in burning calories, Tsujiri’s tea collection is as nutritious as it is delicious. Everyday, Damar Terrace will present an exquisite menu of Tsujiri specialty products including O-matcha, iced and hot teas, lattes, floats, soft ice cream, and shaved ice.
